I Scream, You Scream, We All Scream for Matcha Ice Cream

We all know the summers are super hot and stifling. So, we decided to find an easy recipe for you to try and to cool you off in these sunny days to come… Matcha Ice cream! You won’t need a fancy machine for this recipe so do not fret. But, what you do need is 4 simple ingredients. 1 cup heavy cream, cold (240ml) ¼ cup (4 tablespoons) sweetened condensed milk, cold (76g) 4½ teaspoons matcha green tea powder (12g) 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract for additional flavor Now, the process is fairly simple. Let’s break it down: Mix 4½ teaspoons of green tea powder in 3 tablespoons of hot water and let cool. Whip 1 cup of cold heavy cream until stiff. Heavy cream contains more than 36% of milk fat and should be whipped to stiff without sugar. Mix matcha green tea mixture with ¼ cup of cold sweetened condensed milk. And add in matcha green tea and (sweetened) condensed milk mixture into heavy cream and fold carefully until combined. transfer to a container, plastic or baking pan, cover with plastic wrap. Then freeze for at least 6 hours or overnight. Enjoy it the next afternoon under the sun to cool off.
