TEA OF THE MONTH. MARCH

Rooibos

“Roy-Boss”

Ahhh. Rooibos tea.

The Queen bee of all teas.

No, but really,

this tea is actually an herb that has been used to heal a very long list of ailments for almost two centuries to date.  In addition to its beautiful red color and smooth finish, this South African “red bush tea” can aid in almost anything you can think of ranging from insomnia to type two diabetes.

To list a few:

Asthma

Eczema

Cancer

Bone weakness

Hypertension

Allergies

Cardiovascular diseases

Stomach cramps

What makes this tea so healthy is the fact that it is PACKED with  Polyphenols - abundant micronutrients in our diets. As their role as an antioxidant and our defense against free radicals, it is a good idea to always have this tea in your cabinet!

Another wonderful thing about this beautiful herbal tea is that it is free of

Oxalic acid [an organic acid that binds with minerals and is secreted through your urine].

Therefore, this tea is a great choice for those suffering from kidney stones.

Rooibos tea is also caffeine free [hence, herbal] and so it can be a great tea to help insomnia.

This red tea is also packed with minerals such as iron, potassium, calcium, copper, manganese, zinc, magnesium and it tastes yummy too!

So the bottom line is:

Say Hello to
